Romanian fiddler and folk band leader born January 15, 1916, Segarcea, Dolj County – passed away 1979, București. In 1923 he started to play the violin. In 1953 he recorded his first tunes for Societatea Română de Radiodifuziune, and in 1955 his first record appeared.
