Songwriting collaboration in the 1920's Jazz era in Chicago between Spencer and Clarence Williams. Together, they are responsible for some famous Jazz standards of this era as "Basin Street Blues" or "Baby Won’t You Please Come Home". Note, that even both share the same name, they were not related. In numerous credits, only "Williams" is used as a composer credit.
