Antoine Bedewi

Classical timpanist & percussionist, and Professor of Timpani. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music in 2005. In August 2006, he joined the Colin Currie Group. He served as the Principal Timpanist at Teatro Municipal de Santiago, Santiago de Chile (06/2007-01/2008). Former Co-Principal Timpanist of the London Symphony Orchestra (06/2012-08/2017). Principal Timpani of the BBC Symphony Orchestra since September 2017. Professor of Timpani at The Guildhall School Of Music & Drama (01/2013-07/2016) and the Royal Academy of Music since September 2014.
