Marcos Abreu

Marcos Abreu was an audio and acoustic engineer with a career spanning over 30 years. He has worked with the mastering of works by Vitor Ramil, José Miguel Wisnik, Nei Lisboa, Cachorro Grande, Fresno and Renato Borghetti, among many others (there are more than six thousand discs with his signature), releasing through labels such as Sony, EMI and Warner, in Brazil and abroad, in countries like Argentina and the United States. In the area of ​​acoustics and sound, Marcos worked on projects such as the OSPA Recital Room, Teatro Unisinos and the studios of Casa de Cinema in Porto Alegre. He passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 64.
