Jhonny Orosco

Peruvian chicha/ cumbian singer founder of Grupo Néctar. From Ayacucho parents, his father abandoned them and grew up with his mother and siblings. In the beginning he joined "Pintura Roja" playing the guitar, years later he would go on to join "El Grupo Ciclón" playing the guitar again. In 1995, he decided to form his own group "Tormenta", which would later be called "Nectar". On May 13, 2007, the van where the members of Grupo Néctar were moving collided with a car on the highway "May 25" and leaving the road, causing the death of both the singer and twelve other people.
