Roland Lord

Roland Lord was born as Eddie Roland Karlsson on December 22, 1942 in Björkvik, Södermanland, Sweden and died on February 3, 2018 in Oxelösund, Södermanland, Sweden. Roland Lord was the bass player in Göran Fredrixon's Orkester, a band which also included his younger sister Elisabeth Lord on vocals, from the early 1960s. In 1967, Roland Karlsson married Viveka Holmgren. After the wedding, the couple changed their surnames to Almlén. And as Roland Almlén, he then started the label Roldex in 1972.
