Ivan Ljutić / Forbidden Dance / Third World From throwing parties in his hometown and spinning records on the local scene to sharing the decks in Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro, Evan has been DJing for more than 20 years. During this time, he has subtly left his mark on every corner of the regional house and techno scene. Evan’s approach to DJing is all about seamlessly exploring different styles of electronic music, with a focus on flow and mixing. While he identifies as a house DJ, often diving into library, Brazilian jazz and bossa nova, synth boogie, spitirual jazz and soul, disco, to acid house vibes, always choosing vinyl as his weapon of choice. He actively curates the "Forbidden Dance" radio show on the Berlin-Belgrade internet station D59B, featuring guest appearances by artists such as Rick Wilhite, Specter, Kleo, Aleqs Notal, and others. Evan is one of the founding members of the Legalize Lambada story, Vakum Records, the internationally recognized Forbidden Dance Records, and the newly established Third World Records, each contributing to the growth of underground electronic music in its own way.
