Rinus Hooning

Dutch sound engineer specialized in vinyl mastering and DMM cutting. Started his career at Bovema / EMI Studios (also known as Intertone Studios) in October 1973 and in May 1981 moved to CBS, Haarlem, which subsequently became Sony/CBS, Haarlem and in June 1998 Record Industry. Since 2019 he was Head Audio and Quality Control at the latter and chief engineer of their in-house studio Artone Studio. As of March 2024, Rinus started his own mastering studio RHM (Rinus Hooning Mastering). Occasionally signs his work by etching RINUS or RH or R.H. in the runout, please credit with Lacquer Cut By and the appropriate ANV.
