David Aknin

Italian musician (drummer, percussionist, pianist, vibraphonist), composer, arranger and sound designer, based in France since 1996. David Aknin, versatile musician, began playing at 13 and has since performed with various groups. He co-founded the Slang Trio in Paris with Laurent Géniez and Alexandre Hiele, which later became a collective. Since 1999, he has been a member of the group "the Most" with Cyril Guiraud, Alexandre Hiele, DJ Unkle Benz, and Thomas Grommaire. Aknin performed in New York with Charles Watters, Andrew Barker, Jeremy Wills, Adam Roberts, Laurent Géniez, Olivier Samouillian, and Mérédith Drum and Marc Périlhou for the premiere of "Mystery and Reality." He also performed with Eric Pailhé, Jon Robinson, Mark Southerland, and Brian Hicks in the Midwest and Paris.
