Canadian (Québec) singer-songwriter born in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. He began his career (1968-1973) and in April 1972 won the "Concours National de la Chanson Canadienne", which earned him the opportunity to represent Canada at the Spa Festival (Francofolies de Spa) in Belgium.
During the same period, he completed a Bachelor of Music degree at École De Musique Vincent-d'Indy and a Master's degree in orchestration at McGill University.
From 1974 onward, he worked primarily as a conductor and arranger for various radio and television variety shows and accompanied numerous artists on stage. He also composed several songs for many local performers.
He has served on the board of directors of SPACQ for over 30 years. He has also served on the boards of SOCAN and the "Guilde des Musiciens & Musiciennes du Québec". He is a member of the board of directors of the SOCAN Foundation and vice-president of SPACQ.
