Los Angeles based law firm which was founded by Charles T. Manatt and Thomas D. Phelps in 1965. Lawyer Alan Rothenberg joined them soon after and was partner until 1990. Mickey Kantor joined the firm in 1976 and was named partner from 1991 until his departure in 1993. Lee Phillips joined the firm in 1977 and became a named partner in 1985.
Despite sometimes reffered with current partner names, the company operates under the name Manatt, registered as Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP
