Musician, record label owner and songwriter. Born December 28, 1904 in Holdrege, Nebraska Died March 16, 1986. In the 1920s he settled in Cincinnati, Ohio where he became a noted photographer. He also wrote songs on his own and in collaboration with Erwin King. He was the owner of Fraternity Records with silent partner Dr, Ashton L. Welsh, a Cincinnati dermatologist. As a songwriter, he charted once with "Cincinnati Ding Dong" by Art Lund, which hit #27 in the U.S. in 1952 (co-written by Erwin King & Roy Carroll).
