G. N. Purohit

Ganpatbua N. Purohit (G N Purohit) was disciple of Gayanacharya Bhaskar buwa Bakhale. He was a singer, Harmonium player and composer. He ran a music school in Ambewadi area of Girgaon Bombay where he taught music to many students. Sushila Tembe, Lakshmibai Kelkar learnt under him and gave some gramophone records.as a music composer, mostly released on Jay Bharat label records
