Tony Chinnery

Tony Chinnery is a builder of historical keyboard instruments, particularly harpsichords and early fortepianos, who runs a workshop in Tuscany, near Florence, Italy. Chinnery specializes in replicas of particular historical instruments and produced highly-ornamented and exquisite builds, accurate to their originals both mechanically and aesthetically. Some of the concert pianists who performed on Tony Chinnery's builds are Gustav Leonhardt, Kenneth Gilbert, and Ton Koopman.
