Swedish musician, composer and arranger, born January 5, 1947. He is a member of the band Three Studs and a Stone with his son Anders Grahn, guitar, Marcus Liliequist, drums, Andy Olsson, bass, Thomas Pettersson, keyboards, Peter Zimny, sax. Steve Grahn also plays together with Mattias Malm in a duo constellation with a main focus on delta, roots and acoustic guitar music. Steve Grahn has been chairman of Malmoe Copenhagen Blues Connexion (MCBC), Sweden's largest association for roots and blues music. He received the Janne Rosenqvist Memorial Award, 2009, an award that is awarded annually to a Swedish blues musician. This was after a vote in the Jefferson Blues Magazine. He also represented Sweden in the Baltic Blues Challenge where he and his fellow musician Mattias Malm won their class, Solo/Duo. On November 26, 2009, Steve Grahn received the event and entertainment magazine Det Händers Kulturpris for 2009. Together with his colleague Mattias Malm he represented Europe in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, USA in January 2010 in the Solo/Duo class. The duo released their second album Final Route in the fall of 2010.
