Prolific French drummer for lot of underground combos..aka Jaune!
Jean Thevenin studied film at FEMIS and jazz at the Institut des Arts Rhythmiques.
Alongside his work as a drummer (for François & the Atlas Mountains, Sébastien Tellier, and Quentin Dupieux), he composed soundtracks for theater (Louis Arène and the Munstrum Théâtre), dance (Alice Martins), radio (for Marie Richeux's show Pas la peine de crier), and film (Adèle Beaulieu, Louise Hémon, Elisabeth Vogler).
He has released two solo EPs under the name Jaune: Procession in 2016 and La Promesse in 2019.
In 2021, he composed the soundtrack for two films currently in production (Acte 100 by Anne-Sophie Bailly and Années 20 by Elisabeth Vogler) and collaborated with contemporary artists Julien Creuzet. and Maxime Rossi, while waiting to set Le Mariage forcé to music at the Comédie Française in 2022.
