Sofia Adinolfi
Italian pianist. Born in 1997, Sofia got the Master Degree in 2019 under the guide of M° Luigi Tanganelli with the evaluation of 110 cum laude. She is now attending the Chamber Music course at the “Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia” in Rome. She is winner of many national competitions: among all, in 2014 she got a Special Mention from the Jury and won the Special Prize at the “XXI Piano Competition Ramon Lull” in Palma de Majorca, then in 2017 she won the Chamber music section of the national competition “Premio delle Arti” with violinist Giulia Pasquini and, last June, she won the national chamber music competition “Gaspare da Salò” in Brescia with violist Leonardo Taio. She also attended Masterclasses with David Kuyken, Siavush Gadjiev, Pavel Gililov, Benedetto Lupo, Andrea Lucchesini and Fabio Bidini; moreover, she is one of the nine young pianists who Angela Hewitt chose in 2016 for her international Masterclass in Perugia. She also was student of Lilya Zilberstein at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena both in 2018 and 2019. Sofia played with the Orchestra of the “Bruno Maderna” Conservatory the Concerto K467 by Mozart and the C minor Concerto op.18 by Rachmaninoff, then the C minor Concerto op.35 by Schostakovich with the “Orchestra Senzaspine” in Bologna. Since 2019, she has been playing with M° Andrea Lucchi, principal trumpet of the “Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia”: they are now having concerts playing the duo repertoire. Sofia played both solo and chamber music recitals in many concert seasons such as the IUC Istituzione Universitaria dei Concerti in Rome, Accademia Filarmonica in Bologna, Società Italiana della Musica da Camera in Ariano Irpino (AV), Teatro Bonci in Cesena, Società Letteraria in Verona and Casa Museo Ivan Bruschi in Arezzo.
