Tom Deacon

Canadian executive producer, Philips Classics, born September 6, 1941, died February 5, 2023. He studied French at Trinity College, Toronto, continuing his studies at the University of Illinois before writing his Ph.D comprehensives at University College, Toronto. In 1967. In 1971, he returned to Canada from Paris to take up a teaching position at the University of Manitoba. He is the executive producer of the extensive piano series Great Pianists Of The 20th Century.
