Lars Burman

Swedish jazz bassist, film producer, production manager and actor, born April 28, 1924 in Bromma, died October 30, 1970 in Wicklow, Ireland. He started Metronome Records AB together with his little brother Anders Burman and Börje Ekberg. Burman later formed Metronome Studios in Stocksund and conducted film production there for several years. For the last five years he lived in Wicklow, Ireland, where he and his wife Ann owned a candle factory.
