Dudley Cantrell

Australian musician (trombone), arranger and band leader - b. ??? - d. Vaucluse, NSW. 29 May, 1974 Member of Jim Davidson's Orchestra 1931-1936. Along with his two brothers, pete Cantrell and Bert Cantrell, left Jim Davidson's Orchestra to form their own band 1937-1938. Later led own band. Began arranging full time for the Tivoli Theatre circuit from the 1940s into the late 1950s.
