Thomas Meyer

Swiss music critic and author. Often credited for liner notes on German and Swiss classical recordings.(* 1955, Zurich). He studied musicology and literary criticism at the University of Zurich. As a music journalist, he worked for the Tages-Anzeiger until 2010 and also works for Radio SRF 2 Kultur the WochenZeitung Zürich and other newspapers, specialist magazines and radio stations. He is also a member of the program groups at the Rümlingen Festival and the Bern Music Festival, as well as the «Zeitgenössische Musik» jury at the German Record Critics' Prize.
