Powerage is a hard rock band from Fürth, Bavaria, Germany, that was formed in 1984. Not to be confused with Powerage from Brandenburg (later Supremacy (21)), Powerage from North Rhine Westphalia (AC/DC tribute band), Powerage (8) from the USA and Powerage (10) from Italy.
The band started as AC/DC tribute band, thus named after the AC/DC album "Powerage".
