Periklis Harvas (b. 1949 - d. 1993) was a Greek Singer/Songwriter. An important songwriter who graced the stage with his presence for more than 20 years, recorded 3 major albums while collaborating in live shows with many artists of his era, such as Notis Mavroudis, Nikos Chouliaras, Arleta, Giorgos Zografos, Linos Kokotos and Thanos Mikroutsikos. In 1971 Harvas' debut album was released, entitled "Under the Fairy Tales" [Pan-Vox]. It included 8 original songs and 4 covers (under different names): "Just a season" and "Chestnut mare" by the Byrds, "Country road" by James Taylor, as well as on "Bye bye love", of the Everly Brothers. "Είναι μια μικρή πόλη»" is one of the most dynamic songs of Greek rock of those years, with beautiful lyrics, music and instrumentation, through which the elusive guitar of Alekos Glykas (from Charms, Beatniks, Stormies, Saxons, Babylon) shines. Same applies to the somewhat melancholic "Όταν μεγαλώσεις", which benefits from the harpsichord, or the ballad "Είχα μιαν αγάπη", which has a nice chorus, always having that somewhat sad interpretation that often characterizes the style of P. Harvas, as well as "Ευανθία".
