Laurence Vanloo, founder of At The Villa in 1988, transformed Belgium’s techno scene over nearly 37 years. Working alongside her father, Jean Vanloo, she launched hits through the At The Villa label and steered the H20 Club as creative director, leaving a lasting impact on European club culture. At The Villa quickly became a pioneer in Belgian techno, hosting legendary nights across ten venues with iconic DJs and electrifying events that attracted fans from all over Europe. Despite challenges—including a devastating fire in 1994—the club continued to thrive, evolving into a cultural phenomenon in the electronic music scene.
