Wolfgang Trescher

German flautist and composer from the Hamburg region, born in 1950. Trescher started in a schoolband in the late 1960's, which later became the Bluesrock band Tomorrow’s Gift. After their debut album, he left the band and became medical doctor in a hospital, from 1989 he was country doctor near Hamburg. In 1979, he coverted to Buddhism and in 1988 he started to study Buddhism. He is now Buddhist teacher at the Tibetian centre in Hamburg.
